1 Notification Date the DNR is notified of the discovery of the contamination.
2 RP Letter Sent Date of letter to RP notifying of legal responsibilities associated with the discovery of contamination.
3 Notice of Noncompliance (NON) Date RP is sent a Notice of Noncompliance (NON) as a result of their failure or refusal to comply. Identifies the specific violation and requires a response within a given time period.
4 Enforcement Conference Date of meeting between RP and DNR to discuss a violation and the necessary response(s). Indicates the consequences of not taking the required action, including referral to Department of Justice.
8 Significant Violator Location classified as a Significant Violator (SV) under RR Program SV definition.
10 Drycleaner Historical Discharge Date Date of historical discharge (if other than Notification date).

21 Contest Case Hearing Date of formal hearing to challenge an order.

51 Deed Affidavit at Closeout Date Deed Affidavit recorded with the Register of Deeds. Mostly used for residual soil contamination or for monitoring wells needing abandonment. Notes conditions required under code rather than as a property-specific condition(s).
52 Deed Restriction for Soil at Closeout Deed Restriction was recorded at the Register of Deeds, due to residual soil contamination, to ensure that land use doesn't pose a health threat. If the soils are made accessible, additional action is required. As of 6/2006, these restrictions were largely replaced with listing on the GIS Registry
53 Deed Affidavit for Enforcement Date a deed affidavit is recorded by the DNR at the Register of Deeds. In lieu of enforcement actions. Contamination exists & property owner/RP not proceeding or is unable to proceed with investigation & cleanup. Informs public of contamination & environmental liability assoc with the property.
54 Activity Transferred to DATCP Date that project management of the activity is transferred to the Department of Agriculture, Trade & Consumer Protection.

56 Land Use Controls Required at Closure Closure letter (cleanup approval) imposes conditions to ensure residual contamination does not pose a threat to the public or environment. Property is listed in DNR's GIS Registry of Closed Remediation Sites. Prior to June 3, 2006 this would have required a deed restriction.

85 NR 720.19 Performance Based Closure Closure using soil performance standards in place of RCLs for soil. Deed restrictions and/or maintenance may be needed. Public notice required to be posted by RP.
